How We Work
A Process Engineered for Certainty in Bowling Green
Every phase of our design-build process is designed to eliminate the ambiguity that causes budget overruns and schedule delays on construction projects throughoutKentucky.
Discovery & Design
We begin with LIDAR scanning of your existing space, creating a precise 3D model. Your design project manager works with you to develop plans that are both beautiful and buildable.
Pre-Construction
Before a contract is signed, we do the pre-construction work to price the scope you’ve chosen. The number in your contract is the number you pay for that scope.
Managed Construction
Your construction project manager coordinates trades, materials, inspections, and the critical path in support of the written completion commitment.
Walkthrough & Warranty
A comprehensive walkthrough ensures every detail meets your expectations. Our warranty program protects your investment long after completion.
Precision Technology
Integrated Architectural Continuity
In our region, high-quality architectural design is often outsourced to distant markets. Design Builders brings that caliber of precision in-house to ensure that what is designed is exactly what is built.
Our LIDAR scanning creates sub-millimeter 3D models of your existing structure — not rough measurements with a tape measure. This Precision Insurance protects your investment by revealing existing conditions while design decisions can still respond to them.
LIDAR scanning and 3D design are used where they improve documentation, coordination, and decision-making before construction.
Not For Everyone
Is Design Builders the Right Fit?
If price is your only motivator, we're not the right builder — and we'll tell you that honestly. But we also can't in good conscience recommend builders who prioritize speed and cost over long-term structural integrity.
Our clients value architectural precision, transparent budgets, and the peace of mind that comes from working with a team that has been peer-reviewed by the best builders in the nation. If that sounds like you, we should talk.
